Halaal Qc Monitor

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Inspection of all delivery vehicles to ensure halaal compliance.
- Monitor all incoming deliveries for compliance.
- Recording and compiling of daily reports of all goods received.
- Updating of raw material and supplier list
- Updated report should be compiled and sent to MJC at each month end.
- Advise the Halaal Authority of any new product received and get approval from them before it can be released for use.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure that you have updated halaal certificates for all ingredients.
- Conduct daily walkabouts (every hour or 2/3 hours) to all storage and processing areas
- inspections to be done to ensure compliance. Records for these inspections should be kept on file for audits.
- Monitor compliance of employees to ensure no cross contamination.
- Report all non
- conformances should be reported immediately.
- Enforcing GMP’s and hygiene practices including housekeeping.
- Monitoring all foreign objects (Glass & hard, pest, metal and other).
- Monitoring packaging integrity.
- Monitoring final product shelf life, weights and work in progress aspects.
- Monitoring and ensuring traceability records are completed by relevant personnel.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12/ Matric.
- Computer Literacy in MS Office.
- Previous halaal monitoring experience.
- Previous experience in quality and monitoring of food products manufactured on site will be advantageous.
- Practicing Muslim and understanding of halaal compliance in the food manufacturing environment.
- Enforcing and maintaining the halaal protocol in the workplace.
- Strong Islamic education.
- Previous experience in an FCMG industry will be advantageous.
