To maximise commercial key accounts performance, in line with Company objectives and strategy, working as part of the regional team to drive Product proposition to Retail to develop customer satisfaction and to facilitate sales vs order closure.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Qualifications required to fulfil the role**
- Degree, Diploma or relevant industry qualification in construction/building disciplines is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- Driver licence.

**Specific Work Experience, Knowledge and Skills required to fulfil the role**
- 3 years proven technical sales experience within their field.
- Ability to interpret technical designs from two dimensional to three dimensional.
- Knowledge of construction process stages and ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency within a customers’ construction programme.
- Understanding of current market legislation, the practical implications and impacts within a business.
- The ability to articulate a high degree of technical knowledge to key stakeholders (external and internal) to enable translation of opportunity into commercial benefit.
- Supply chain awareness, understanding the process and identifying/targeting opportunities.
- Driver licence.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Accountable to deliver sales revenue in commercial area.
- Accountable to own area customer relationships.
- Execute route to market strategy for the Retail customer groups..
- Assist marketing to launch new products (as defined) to retail distributor customer group.
- To work across the supply chain, internal and external, engaging specialist distributors and retail customers to promote system solutions.
- Advise on advantages of our comprehensive product range. Communicating the entire value proposition to customer groups as defined..
- Assist and /or give presentations to Regional team as necessary, and to customer base with focus on all aspects of product / system performances.
- Ability to articulate how our offer stands out, offer expertise and advice on the advantages of our comprehensive product range, communicating the value proposition to the customer base as defined.
- Working with other team members to develop technical skills.
- Attend Regional Sales meetings giving timeous feedback as and when required.
- Responsible for training of customer base on existing products, new products and value add propositions (for example: product handling and stock rotation).
- Merchandising as and when required to ensure complete product offering understandable to end user.
- Achievement of Regional training KPIs.
- Achievement of local demand forecast in line with regional KPI.
- Successful management of CRM.
- Preparation of a sales call (Must know how).
- Market Survey: Knowledge, Info on our Competitors and to Report back on it to Sales Manager.
- Fast Acting (Response) on requests and Decisions and Follow-ups with no delay.
- Adherence to strict ethical codes of conduct and maintenance of confidentiality at all times.
- Adherence to Company reporting procedure/commercial admin systems, offering appropriate feedback and information.
- Responsibility for safety aspects within area of responsibility.
- Manage product performance issues in-line with Company guidelines.
- Awareness of broader SG proposition to pass on potential opportunities presented.
- Provide timeous input into management reports as and when required to Key Accounts.
