**The IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg Campus **has a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part-Tme) in the School of Computer Science for the following module in second semester**:

- **
ITPP5112 : IT Professional Practice**

**Competencies Required**:

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Assertiveness and dynamism.
- Understanding of customer service in education.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively.

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.

**Alternatively**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with IT modules to the 3rd yearA 3-year degree in Computer Science and Information Systems.

**Minimum Experience Requirements**:

- Previous lecturing experience within tertiary environment is advantageous.
- It would be preferable if the following additional competencies are fulfilled:

- Lecturing experience in general IT topics.
- Work experience in an IT field.

**Working Conditions**:
