**The IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (part-time) in the Faculty of Education for the following module in second semester**:

- ** COLA5112 : Communicative Languages: Afrikaans**

**Competencies Required**:

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Assertiveness and dynamism
- Understanding of customer service in education
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour’s degree **or**
- An Honour’s degree in the language to be lectured **or**
- Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honour’s **or**
- Postgraduate Diploma (at NQF level 8)

**And**:

- The undergraduate qualification must include the language to be lectured as a major (up to third year level) **or**

**Minimum Experience Requirements**:

- Ideally, teaching/lecturing experience in the language to be lectured.
- Previous lecturing experience within tertiary environment is advantageous.
