Warehouse Clerk

**Key Responsibilities**

Ensure that accurate, up-to-date information regarding the current stock levels and stock movements between warehouses is readily available on the electronic system.

**Key Result Areas (Functional)**
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements
- Ensure that all stock sheets have been received and follow up where necessary
- Compare the opening stock numbers on system with the actual stock counts as provided by the warehouse storemen and supervisor
- Compile a full variance report based on comparisons between system and actual stock counts as reported
- Initiate full investigations into variances
- Ensure that stocktake is conducted correctly and on time once every month
- Action tracebacks and provide information where required
- Participate and support the implementation of Best Practices and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Participation in implementation of corrective action and preventative action

**Required Knowledge**
- Solid knowledge and understanding of warehouse and logistics procedures
- Computer literate
- SYSPRO

**Required Prior Learning/Experience**
- Matric / Grade 12
- 3 Years’ experience in a warehousing/logistics environment
- 3 Years’ FMCG experience

**Personal Characteristics**
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Action orientated
- Energetic and passionate
- Attention to detail / accuracy

**Salary**: R15,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse/logistics: 3 years (required)
- FMCG: 3 years (required)
