**JOB TITLE**:Dark store co-ordinator

**REPORTS TO**:Store assistant manager

**JOB PURPOSE**:Accountable for the overall operation of the dark store, overseeing all stock.

receiving/ stock movement with receiving clerk, staging, order consolidation and status,

following up on missing stock, customer feedback (via customer call centre), packing, wrapping

(Ensuring sufficient consumables), scheduling deliveries, quality checking all outgoing orders.

and closing the total customer order process. All systems, process, administrative, reporting

processes - as it relates to dark room (adhere and implement dark store SOPs). This is a process and systems driven role.

**JOB OBJECTIVES**:
1. Store Operations

a. Understand and adhere to all receiving, stock movement, packing, delivery, customer.

communication, online order SOP’s for the dark store - and adhere to SLAs

b. Action daily/weekly process and systems actions

c. Ensure all dark stock receiving, holding/packing/dispatch areas are tidy, labelled - and

stock order status clear on every order

d. Ensure stock is clearly allocated

e. Follow up on missing stock

f. Ensure the smooth running of stock receiving (with the receiving clerk)/stock

holding/packing (with dark store picker/packer)/dispatch areas for dark store - and at all

times that management is 100% clear on stock received, unders, overs,and where the

stock is - order status of all online orders

g. Manage dark store picker and packer - quality control process/reporting/standards to

ensure customer receives order as per SLA and ARC standard

h. Liaise with the customer call centre on any order issues/status to communicate with

customer as per SLA

i. Perform other duties as required

**KPI’s include (with example targets)**:
1. Customer Service level - adhering to online/dark store SOP - report any issue relating to the

order not being on time to customer call centre to convey to the customer on the day - ie within

12 hours.

a. KPIs - Customer weighting 20% of performance appraisal. Target 100%

2. Store specific finance KPI’s - stock holding (stock on hand/unders/overs/location) for dark store

a. KPIs -Finance weighting 30% of performance appraisal. Target 100%

3. Store implementation and adherence to SOP’s - dark store SOP’s

a. KPIs - Business process weighting 30% of performance appraisal. Target 100%

4. Store employee performance, achievement of individual/team/store

goals/training/growth/succession planning

a. KPIs People weighting 20% of performance appraisal. Target 80%+

5. Demonstrate ARC values

a. Rating 1-5

**KEY CHALLENGES**:Staying organised and on top of all SOPs processes/systems/stock/order status will be key to success. Stock management (online store accuracy) is a challenge. Any process improvement to

**EDUCATION**:Matric

**JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE**:

- 3 years+ Retail store receiving experience/knowledge. Online operations will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of online, retail receiving and stock management, dispatch processes and systems

**JOB RELATED SKILLS**:

- Process and admin minded
- Risk oriented
- Systems savvy
- Must be a sound team lead, team player -willing to roll up your sleeves and actively help, an

active learner and problem-solver
- Must be willing to work weekends and shifts as required
- Must have own transport

**Job Type**: Contract
