We are seeking a dedicated Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant during breakfast and lunch hours, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. welcoming atmosphere.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Lead, train, and motivate restaurant staff, including waiters and chefs.
- Ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service, address any issues or special requests, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Organize and manage breakfast and lunch shifts, including scheduling, staff assignments, and monitoring workflow.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
- Oversee inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Stay informed about the menu items, specials, and be able to answer guest questions.
- Enforce restaurant policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of breakfast and lunch menu items and restaurant operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
- Flexibility in working early morning and daytime shifts.

**CORE COMPETENCY SKILLS**:

- Computer literacy - Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to communicate and develop effective working relationships with staff and guests.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize structure and complete tasks which aligns with the group’s goals and objectives.
- Excellent Leadership Skills is essential.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Franschhoek, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Restaurant management: 1 year (required)
