**Job Title** (Job Code): Maintenance Technician

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
- is to permerm maintenance activities on highly complexed systems, machinery and equipment being both mechacially and electrically driven, to ensure fully maintnenace support to the operations to prevent downtime that will impact delivery of carbodies.. This job could also coordinate team activiety to ensure fully maintence support is given.

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**
- Perform both preventative and corrective Maintenance and repair activities on
- Cranes and Lifting Equipment
- World Class Paint Booths which is highly complexed being both mechanical and electrical and includes operations like PLCs, Dirves, Gas Heaters, Sensors etc
- CNC machinery
- Welding Machines
- Robotic welders
- Participate in Cross Functional Team meetings to support production activities
- Coordinate contractors activities where contractors are required to support maintenance work
- Ensure health and safety rules are always adhered to
- Ensure Quality, Time Cost at all times
- Support and comply to APSYS requirements
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Support any Maintenance activity that may be required to ensure operations continues

**MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES**

**Educational Requirements**_**Mandatory**:

- Qualified Millwright
- Drives Certification
- PLC Certification

**Desirable**:

- Exposer on Robotic Welders
- Exposer to CNC Equipment
- Cherry Picker License
- Forklift license
- Crane License

**Experience
**Mandatory**:

- minimum 10 years proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with maintaining plant equipment and machinery
- Strong communication
- Proven track record of working with Computers
- Willing and able to work shift and stanby if required
- Proven track record or reading and understanding schematics
- ability to see in colour
- working at heights and confined spaces

**Desirable**:

- Exposed to Rolling Stock Environment
- Exposer to gas heating spray booths
