Foundry Maintenance Technician

Foundry Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity. Must have foundry experience (NOT NEGOTIABLE)
Applicants must be familiar with electrical, mechanical, and preventative foundry plant maintenance.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving any issues that may arise from dealing with any of the equipment or tooling.
- Familiar with foundry plant predictive and preventative maintenance.
- Provide support to the Maintenance Manager and management team in daily plant operations.
- Make sure all safeguards of equipment are installed and maintained as needed to conform to OSHA regulations.
- Assist in set up of existing or new fixtures for machine or assembly.
- Complies with safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as and when required.
- Proactive approach to plant safety.
**Desired experience and qualifications**
- Trade certification (Fitter & Turner)
- Preventative maintenance (min 2 years)
- Mechanical maintenance (min 2 years)
- Understanding of electrical maintenance on foundry plant equipment
- Must be familiar with foundry maintenance (not negotiable)
- Welding certifications are a plus but not a requirement.
**Working hours**
- Monday - Friday (Own reliable transport)
- Standby
- Overtime (as and when required)
