**Executive Manager: Banking Operations**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Manager to lead our Banking Operations division. As the Executive Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall banking strategy, fostering relationships with customers and intermediary channel partnerships within the agricultural sector. You will play a vital role in originating, structuring, and executing transactions with existing customers while driving new business development opportunities. Additionally, you will contribute to our transformation strategy, provide technical services, and enhance the bank's profitability and product offerings.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Formulate and implement the Banking Operations strategy, ensuring alignment with Land Bank's overall strategy and operating model.
- Design and implement revenue streams to drive profitability and financial sustainability.
- Ensure effective credit management and enterprise risk management through the development and implementation of policies and frameworks.
- Drive development impact and transformation within the agricultural sector.
- Lead business development initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee partnership fund management activities.
- Fulfill executive functions and provide strategic guidance to the organization.
- Manage the division and its people, including senior managers and professionals.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

- Postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Banking, Finance, or Business.
- Master's degree or MBA in Business or a related area.
- 8 years of experience in Development Finance, Corporate, Business/Commercial, or Investment Banking.
- 10 years of experience in strategic management, including leadership or management of a customer-facing profit-making business unit.
- 8 years of experience in strategic program execution, including project management and/or consulting.
- 8 years of experience at an Executive Management level, with the ability to manage a team of senior managers and professionals.

**_Critical Competencies:_**
- Strong knowledge of development finance, project finance, credit/risk analysis, and financial interactions with executives and senior staff.
- Familiarity with business operations, processes, customer relationship management, budgeting, and office operations.
- Proficiency in human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Understanding of policies, models, tools, and systems related to banking operations.
- Excellent business acumen and the ability to develop and execute strategies.
- Solid corporate finance and banking skills, including transaction structuring, financial analysis, due diligence, and risk mitigation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of the agricultural sector and its external influences on risk and potential transactions.

**_Additional Requirements:_**
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
- Availability for travel as required.
