Intercare Corporate Services in Lynnwood, Pretoria, seeks to recruit a Group Operations Executive: Primary Care to plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Primary Care division.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Demonstrate visible leadership in respect of the Company’s purpose, values and operating model.
- Draft and implement the national operational strategy and monitor progress to ensure that the organisation achieves its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Chief Executive and Senior Managers, related to business growth strategies.
- Establish and maintain effective formal and informal relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate proactively on all changes and/or initiatives to key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage the partnership between the Company and relevant stakeholders.
- Gain acceptance and monitor the implementation of annual budgets aligned to the budget targets.
- Align strategy with budgetary targets to ensure achievement thereof.
- Create a budget-centric culture amongst all relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor, analyse and report on business strategies and financial performance.
- Develop an organisational structure aligned with business objectives and needs.
- Actively sponsor the implementation of national operational initiatives and projects to ensure continuity and improved productivity.
- Establish and maintain appropriate metrics for measuring operational performance.
- Facilitate operational management meetings to assess the progress of business objectives.
- Analyse and mitigate risks to the organisation (i.e. relative to competition, labour threats, compliance needs; and legislative requirements).
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to stakeholders within the organisation.
- Partner in the development of company human resource initiatives.
- Manage and develop direct reporting staff.
- Coach the operational team to set the correct priorities aligned to the National Operational Strategy.
- Promote individual and team autonomy.
- Identify and utilise team and individual strengths.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A minimum of 10 years' healthcare industry experience, including a minimum of 7 years’ operations management experience.
- A proven track record in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships with Healthcare Professionals.
- A postgraduate degree or equivalent is mandatory. A business management degree will be advantageous.
- Proven leadership and people management experience essential.
- Willingness to travel frequently essential.
