Global Independent Administrators is a financial organisation which deals with investment administration. We are in the market for a dynamic, pro-active graduate or young individual with an accounting, investment, or similar degree to join our Financial Operations (FinOps) team as a trading (FinOps) administrator.

Your duties and responsibilities _inter alia_ include:

- Both local and offshore payments and settlement thereof in the relevant system.
- Daily processing of portfolio cash flows (including recording the cash flows and modelling the client products).
- Ensure accurate trading instructions via Finswitch and other means available.
- Re-balances of portfolios.
- Reconciliation of underlying third party statements.
- Trading of Asset Instructions - CIS both local and offshore for all asset lines of business and ensuring that the timing is correct.
- Query resolution.
- Processing of Distributions.
- Setup of trade accounts.
- Improving of processes and controls within the CIS trading and environment.
- Deal with Portfolio Flows.
- Foreign trades (FX's).
- Reconciliations.
- Application forms.

**Systems to be familiar with (not essential but would be highly beneficial)**:

- Finswitch.
- Fundamental.
- Silica.
- Spectra.

**Skills/Knowledge**:

- Industry knowledge within the financial industry will be beneficial.
- Product knowledge within the financial industry will be beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Pro-active.
- Able to work in a very fast, high-pressured environment.
- Strong excel skills.
- Detailed systems observation.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- One (1) year experience in a financial operation, trading, asset management or a similar field.

**Job Types**: Temporary, Temp to perm, Graduate

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Trading / FinOps Administration: 1 year (preferred)
