**Divisional Head - Forecasting, Planning and Business Optimisation **_(_Financial Services)_

**Location: Pretoria, Gauteng**

There is a **_strategic career enhancement_** opportunity available with **a** **leading financial services group** for a **Divisional Head - Forecasting, Planning and Business Optimisation **_(LEAN Management)_**_._**

**Position Overview**:
The main purpose of this position is to **provide leadership and strategic direction to the Forecasting, Planning** **and Business Optimisation Division** in the **_Supply Chain Management_** business unit of the group.

Core focus areas include **LEAN Management**, **Forecasting, Planning and Business Optimisation**.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- _Provide input into the _**_departmental strategy and policy_**_, aligned to the group strategy._
- _Develop _**_strategy-aligned divisional operational plans, policies, and procedures_**_._
- **_Oversee divisional projects_**_ and the _**_implementation of the _**_supply chain management strategy_**:

- _Provide _**_leadership and oversight to industry programmes and projects_**_._
- _Oversee the _**_planning for the optimal supply_**_ of products_**_._
- _Oversee the _**_formulation of a framework for supply chain technologies, systems, and solutions_**_._
- **_Develop and maintain strategic relationships_**_ with major stakeholders._
- _Manage the _**_implementation of policies_**_._
- **_Prioritise work_**_, _**_manage resource utilisation_**_ and the _**_quality of deliverables_**_, and _**_control costs_**_._
- **_Create a performance culture_**_ in the division._
- **_Stay abreast of technology/equipment in the currency space_**_ to provide thought leadership. _
- **_Manage compliance and risk_**_ as required._

**Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- **Master’s **degree **in **Commerce** or **Supply Chain Management**.
- A **minimum of 10 to 12 years’ experience** at a **General Management Level**.**:

- At least **6 years **in a **Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)** or related **Operations Management environment**.
