4* Property in the Norther Suburbs looking to hire a suitably qualified and experienced Operations Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management professional qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership position within the hotel industry as a Operations Manager
- Excellent communication skills in English - Verbal and Written.
- Mathematic and Accounting skills are required to be able to compile and analyse budgets and hotel profit and loss.
- Skilled in reporting, computer experience, including company issued software programs proficiency
- Have a core value system, aligned with Honesty, Respect, Caring, Passion and Sustainability

**Responsibilities**:

- Directly manages the hotel, ancillary services and staff on a daily basis, and responsible for the overall direction, co
- ordination and success of the hotel with the General Manager
- Achieve maximization of profits and return on investment over the long term by the prudent and efficient use of resources
- Ensure the highest level of customers satisfaction and lowest rate of defection by building the Hotel reputation and market relationship, addressing complaints and resolving problems in a proactive manner
- To create, maintain and develop policies and strategies, which satisfy guidelines set, and ensure compliance of all legislation and company standards operating procedures with the HOD’s. Manages and controls the budgets, targets, cash and working capital effectively with the General Manager.
- Responsible for staff development and growth, as well as the successful running of all social economic development programs and all environmental strategies with the HOD’s

**Key Accountability**:

- Assist the General Manager effectively by running a Hotel, while visibly following the Hotels Values System.
- To lead the Team, achieve the budget and execute the business strategy.
- Ensure a happy, healthy and positive working environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R34,000.00 per month
