The Reverse Logistics Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the reverse logistics warehouse.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage processes inclusive of receiving customer and store returns, repairing of faulty or damaged products with technical support to customers, distribution centres and stores, reselling of vendible returned items, and distribution and storing of products and parts within the relevant warehouses.
- Inventory management and internal storage allocations and safekeeping of all materials and products.
- Overseeing stock takes and cycle counts with Inventory Administration team on a monthly basis.
- Ensure safe keeping of equipment and asset control.
- Assist in the various operations of inclusive of inventory control, health and safety, facility management and resources, administration, space optimization, racking and stacking, and workflow efficiencies.
- Assist with supply ordering, facility management and resources.
- Responsible for operational aspects like space optimization, site visits to stores and customers for assessments, goods receiving area control and quality control.
- Oversee the full operation of receiving, pricing, selling, and stock control of scratch and dent sales.
- Property safety and security management - respond to after hour alarm activations.
- Manage staff, supporting the Manager in managing time and attendance, performance, and day-to-day aspects.
- Train, guide and increase productivity and output.
- Forecasting staffing requirements and managing capacity during peak seasons.
- Liaise with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance to company policies, processes and procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric, with relevant tertiary qualification.
- 3+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the warehousing, logistics, distribution, or supply chain divisions.
- Furniture industry or returns warehouse experience advantageous.
- Computer Literate in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Code 8 or 10 license, with own transport.

**COMPETENCIES / SKILLS**
- Strong understanding of reverse logistics, warehouse operations, techniques and principles.
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate, inspire and guide team members to achieve targets.
- General knowledge in furniture repair and general handyman knowledge, including the ability to diagnose and recommended methods for repair or fixing common issues within the repairs and technical warehouse.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to analyse data, metrics and trends, and to develop strategies to improve performance.
- Proficiency in managing operations, including receiving, sorting, inspecting, processing, and disposition of returned products.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly resolve challenges and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment.
- Technical skills and knowledgeable on warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and other relevant technology tools used in reverse logistics operations.
- Knowledgeable on supply chain principles and practices, including inventory management procurement and distribution.
- The ability to remain calm, patient and professional under pressure and when interacting with stakeholders.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Strong administration skills.
