**Job Advert Summary**:
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to drawing up Hollard Insure’s IT Strategy, based on business strategy, as well as giving input into Hollard overall strategy and product development and product development solutions.

Primary responsible for defining technical solutions

Design complex systems at the conceptual (business), component (logical) and infrastructure (physical) level

Facilitate the development and evolution of the architecture and global governance processes

Facilitate the process for approving architecture standards

Research and development of new products, that are of competitor edge value to match or better our competitors. Products include but are not limited to; new systems, social media, artificial intelligence, and making using of the best or new systems, social media, artificial intelligence, and making using of the best or new technology

Development of products for our partners and for their products to interface with policy holders

Arbitrates disagreements among engineers, vendors, IT and Insurance specialists and make decisions where needed without damaging relationships

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
8-10 years’ Experience with architecture framework and tools such as TOGAF, Zachman and ArchiMate

8-10 years’ Experience in relevant technologies (particularly Microsoft technologies), development, design, architecture and modeling processes

Domain knowledge of insurance, reinsurance systems and pertinent technologies

Software development background

Stakeholder engagement & Strong leadership skills

**Educational Requirements**:
Matric

Relevant degree/diploma, in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
