General Manager-retail Cleaning

**PURPOSE OF JOB**:
To be responsible for a profitable and professional Cleaning Service and trolley Service in a specific geographical area and to ensure client satisfaction / business retention whilst upholding the Company policies and procedures. (For the Cleaning/TR Contracts in your geographical area.)
**OPERATIONAL STANDARDS**
2.1 To promptly attend to daily messages and complaints and keep record there off.
2.2To ensure constant customer satisfaction and good client contact and communication
2.3 To regularly visit and inspect that the standard of work of employees at Contracts is of the highest standard as per the Contracts specification. 2.4 To ensure that each Contract, per cleaner, is using written job / task schedules, to provide a satisfactory cost effective service.
2.5 To ensure that attendance registers are marked daily at the beginning of the shift, ensuring labour allocation is correct and any changes on the attendance sheet initialed by the Contract Manager.
2.6 To ensure that the Company''''''''s annual leave schedule which details at any one time any Cleaner''''''''s leave in the next 12 (twelve) month period is kept up to date at all times. At the employment date of each Cleaner, Team Leaders / Contract Managers or Supervisors, the leave schedule is to be completed showing the individual''''''''s leave date 12 (twelve) months (hence) in advance.
2.9 To ensure head counts are carried out at each Contract, every 2 (two) weeks and to endorse the attendance register to that effect.
2.10 To ensure adequate control over all equipment in accordance with the Company''''''''s asset register, policies and procedures.
2.11 To be totally responsible for all the Company''''''''s vehicles, machinery and equipment in one''''''''s area by way of signing the Company''''''''s assets register / schedule detailing the said equipment.
2.12 Responsible for monthly written stock-take of the equipment.
2.13 Responsible for reconciling and checking of monthly stock usage / issued
**General**:
9.1 To take responsibility and be accountable for successfully running of the Contract. 9.2 Ensure that communication with the Clients and fellow colleagues are kept on a professional basis. 9.3 To set the example in ail work related matters e.g. dress and appearance, communication, punctuality, discipline and motivation.
Must be willing to work flexible hours.
