**ACTUARIAL ANALYST - GAUTENG**

**Our client is looking for a seasoned, self-driven and disciplined professional that is suitably qualified and experienced for the position of Actuarial Analyst. The purpose of the position is to assist with efficient functioning of balance sheet management function through means of actuarial support.**

**The Following Qualifications and Experience are essential **_**(unless indicated)**_**:

- **BSC Actuarial Science completed or have exemption for at least 13 actuarial exams.**:

- **5 years experience working in the role**
- **Perform monthly capital calculations for the company and its clients.**:

- **Assist with IFRS17 Modelling of LRC and LIC provisions**:

- **Assist and take ownership of the capital projections for the ORSA**:

- **Actively participate in initiatives in order to optimize capital for the company and its clients.**:

- **Actively participate and take ownership quarterly and annual regulatory deliverables.**

**Knowledge and Skills**
- **Expert knowledge of MS Office**:

- **Advance knowledge of MS SQL**:

- **Intermediate-Advanced programming experience**:

- **Advanced understanding of the components of SCR as prescribed by the prudential standards. Cell captive specific experience (advantage)**:

- **Understanding of relevant legislation, ie. Insurance act, prudential standards, IFRS4 and IFRS17.**:

- **Advanced understanding of triangulation methods including large loss reserving methods to value IBNR**
