Mission

The storeman is responsible for the efficient storage and packing of stock items within a

warehouse or storeroom environment. They ensure the accuracy and completeness of

inventory records and maintain a safe and organized work area.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Receive stock, verifying quantities and condition of stock.
- Unpack and inspect merchandise for damage.
- Organize and store stock items according.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Pack and label stock according to the different type.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to stock to supervisors.
- May assist with loading and unloading stock
- Grade 12
- Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Stroman.
- Experience working in a warehouse or storeroom environment a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent organizational skills.
