**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead all aspects of developing delivery formats and premix formulations based on customer requirements for assigned countries and multiple segments, considering local or regional regulations as well as initiating ideas and developing new product concepts based on customer projects or business strategy.
- Maintain created formulas and relevant information for production and quality. Perform and support day to day formulation tasks as required and identify and actively pursue ad hoc projects for continuous improvement of formulation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to proactively innovate new project concepts. Maintain close collaboration with sales & marketing team, their projects, and customers in realizing business opportunities and offering technical support.
- Act as coach and trainer for others team members and as driver for knowledge management (share expertise, provide training ).
- Effectively communicate, provide Technical guidance and collaborate with cross functional teams including, Quality, Marketing, Production Regulatory Affairs, relevant External Stakeholders, and customers

**You bring**:

- Minimum BSc level or equivalent in science / technical Discipline: preferably Food Science or Technology
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar position
- Experiences with product solutions for multiple DSM HNC’s business segments (Medical Nutrition, Dietary Supplement, Nutrition Improvement and Early Life Nutrition)
- Knowledge of general GMP and food safety systems
- Willing to travel into Africa, Middle East, and European countries.
- Expanded customer skills and Advanced Project Management skills.
- Soft skills: Good and adaptive communication style (verbal and written English); Solution-oriented and proactive way of working; Self-Driven and Self-Organized (including Self-Management); Strong time-management skills; Able to work in a multicultural and interdisciplinary team.
