**POSITION**:_Supply Planner: Formulated Products and Active Ingredients_

The successful incumbent will form an integral part of the S&OP process and be responsible for developing, reviewing, and coordinating the Supply Plan, to ensure that the company has the correct level of inventory at all times to deliver against the demand plan and to maintain reasonable inventory levels against set financial targets.

This includes planning for locally formulated product, as well as internationally formulated product and active ingredients, in monthly review cycles.

**EXPERIENCE**
- At least 3 years’ experience in a specialist or leadership role within Procurement, S&OP or Supply chain, within a manufacturing or trading environment.
- Experience in dealing with imported products and raw materials from China, India and Europe is essential.

**EDUCATION**
- Preferably a BCom degree in supply chain, procurement, data analysis or related field.

**SKILLS**
- In-depth knowledge of Supply Planning Methodologies and Chemical supply chains from China/India.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain: Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics & Warehousing.
- In-depth knowledge of S&OP processes within a manufacturing and/or trading company.
- Excellent knowledge of chemical supply chain capabilities and vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of International Logistics, and Incoterms.
- Financial acumen.
- Ability to achieve consensus across multiple functions/departments.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Results driven and focused on continuous improvement.
- Proactive and well organized.
- Skills and gravitas to lead a meeting effectively.
- Ability to deal with adversity and manage conflict.
- Team player and ability to work across all business departments.
- Previous Navision, Business Central or similar ERP system experience.
- Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supply Planning, to enable Procurement to meet the needs of the organisation against the agreed Demand Plan.
- Supply Coordination, by participating in and driving the S&OP process within a cross-functional team.
- Managing and maintaining planning parameters in BC to ensure logical supply suggestions.
- Supplier Performance tracking, by collaborating with International Logistics to track supplier performance and ensure information is readily available to be used in the Supplier Relationship Management Program.
- Ensure smooth execution of agreed order plan.
- Managing and balancing inventory levels to meet both Sales/Demand and Financial targets and requirements.
