**Job Summary**:
As a sales consultant, your primary focus will be to promote and sell our range of industry-leading products. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and presenting them with the correct solution to grow their business and market share. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with business clients, educating them about the benefits of our products and closing sales to drive growth.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Identify and engage potential customers through targeted outreach efforts, including cold calling, networking, referrals, participation in industry events etc
- Build and leverage relationships founded on trust and integrity to facilitate opportunities
- Develop and maintain a database of leads, prioritizing prospects based on their potential fit for our solutions.
- Attend training online and on-site
- Educate clients on the advantages of our product range, including cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency, and environmental benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize product proposals and presentations according to client needs and preferences.
- Present proposals to clients, addressing their questions and concerns, and negotiating terms to secure sales contracts.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets, sharing insights and strategies to enhance sales effectiveness
- Provide ongoing aftersales support to clients, assisting with product inquiries, order processing, and post-sale support as needed
- Proficient in Renewable Energy, Sales Process, and Lead Generation.
- Providing excellent customer/sales service;
- Ensure prompt follow-up with customers for orders, commercial terms, payments, approvals, problem resolution, etc

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Matric Certificate
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the solar energy industry or related sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence business clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure sales contracts and meet revenue targets
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and other business-related activities.
- Positive "can-do" attitude in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have own reliable transport and cell phone.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends

- Must be able to follow own Initiative
- General Solar PV technology and market knowledge

At Shop Solar we offer a commission-based compensation structure for your probation period of 6 months, that rewards your efforts and achievements directly. As a sales Consultant, you'll have the opportunity to earn substantial income through a competitive commission structure. In addition to your commission earnings, we offer quarterly and annual bonuses based on performance, providing further incentives for outstanding results.
