Join our global pharmaceutical client as an assertive HR Lead based in Pretoria. Reporting directly to both the Country Head of South Africa and the Global HR Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives. With a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR experience and a degree in Human Resources, you'll spearhead HR operations from end to end.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

- Lead HR Strategy Development: Spearhead the formulation and implementation of HR strategies for the South African office, ensuring alignment with the country's business objectives.
- Efficient Talent Acquisition: Source and onboard top-quality talent within a defined Turn Around Time to meet organizational needs effectively.
- Streamlined Onboarding Process: Oversee the seamless onboarding and induction of new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Promote Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to foster high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction within the workforce.
- Retention Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee retention, fostering a culture of loyalty and commitment.
- Budget Management: Play a key role in workforce headcount budgeting and HR cost management, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the Global HR Lead to revise and amend HR policies as necessary, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conflict Resolution and Culture Building: Facilitate conflict resolution and cultivate a political meritocratic culture within the South African subsidiary.
- Performance Management Oversight: Ensure timely and effective performance discussions, serving as a moderator when necessary, and drive annual merit increases.
- Statutory Compliance and Payroll Management: Oversee statutory compliances, payroll, attendance, and timekeeping processes to maintain regulatory adherence and organizational efficiency.
