A Private Hospital in East London is seeking a Marketing Officer/Manager to join their team on a 3 month Fixed Term Contract.

**Duties**:

- Responsible for the day to day running of the Marketing department including planning of internal and external strategic programs/events that build relationships with various stakeholders and the Recruitment of new Specialists working at the hospital.
- Maintain high level of knowledge of the Hospital’s Clinical services.
- Provide marketing and communications support to internal and external hospital stakeholders.
- Create and maintain Doctor’s engagement strategy (GP’s and Specialists) including relationships building to increase referrals.
- Drive marketing campaigns internally and externally and measure results.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and general healthcare updates.
- Plan and coordinate various media communication interventions.
- Management of the hospital social media platforms.
- Drive hospital awareness within and beyond the province.
- Generate statistics and reports from available hospital information in order to analyze referral patterns and build a knowledge base to inform strategies and plans.

**Requirements**:

- A relevant Marketing, Public Relations or Communication Degree with 2 years’ experience.
- Ability to compile and process relevant Marketing research information.
- Hospital experience in a Marketing/Communication role will be advantageous.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to travel (own transport)

**Job Type**: Temporary

**Salary**: R1.00 - R2.00 per month
