**The opportunity**:
We are looking to recruit a **Regional HRBP: Training and Development** to support a major expansion project for our client. The role will be responsible for providing Training and Development (T&D) guidance, analysing trends and metrics to develop solutions, programmes and policies related to Training and Development, drive regional harmonisation of policies, governance, standards, processes, and systems across assets. This is a site-based role at our client’s South African site.

**What the role entails**:

- Identifying and implementing fit-for purpose training systems and processes
- Assisting the assets in core T&D analysis and management processes, procedure and systems, development, and implementation
- Accountability for the implementation and ongoing management of a user-friendly Learning Management systems
- Accountability for the management of the regions’ Talent Management Systems, which includes performance management, career development, succession planning, workforce planning and localization where applicable
- Collaboratively with the T&D team and line management, proactively identify all organisational developmental training gaps and where appropriate recommend and implement the necessary and appropriate training interventions.
- Overall responsibility for the management of all Graduate Trainees, Interns, Bursars, Learners, and Apprentices
- Responsibility for the coordination of all soft skills/competency training for employees, while ensuring adherence to standards, systems, policies, and protocols of the assets
- Where appropriate, management the delivery of assessments, i.e., physical, functional, and other psychometric.
- Working closely with line management, employees, and the assets to improve working relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention through T & D initiatives.
- Producing and submission of reports in line with business requirements,

**What you will need**:

- 10 years’ demonstratable experience performing HR and L&D administration and Reporting.
- Suitable tertiary qualification and a Registered as a Psychometrists with the HPCSA
- Able to speak, read and write English
- Ability to acquire through understanding the organizations’ hierarchy, jobs qualifications, training needs, talent management processes and the related administrative practices
- Previous experience in the mining industry within Africa will be an added advantage.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

- HPCSA Registered Psychometrist (required)
