**We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner that will be responsible for the following**:
**Planning & Operations**:

- Maintain and develop positive business relationships with key stakeholders involved in, or directly relevant to, supply chain activities.
- Redesign the movement and flows of goods to maximize value, minimize costs, reduce lead-time and enhance the overall customer experience with a focus on promotional activities, console rates and unfulfilled management.
- Develop and implement technical tools, such as plans, schedules, processing, responsibility and compliance matrices surrounding supply chain and logistics activities in alignment with OTB plans.
- Direct availability and allocation of product, communicating priority deliveries.
- Ensure timely forecast and communication of extraordinary inbound volume to the relevant stakeholders to allow for adequate planning.
- Manage DC, Distribution and Choice Collect capacity, with enhancements of current models.
- Driving down DC aged stock to acceptable levels with continual engagement with key stakeholders driven by economic order quantities.
- Manage DC slotting plans with key stake holders, driving monthly requirements
- Act as liaison for supply chain stakeholders, providing detail towards industry best practice to reduce SKU proliferation and maximize container flows, volumes and utilization efficiencies.
- Communicate any irregularities, errors, purchase order management and vendor compliance factors that impact the receiving of stock.

**Supply Chain Stakeholder Development**:

- Accountable and responsible point of contact for all local stock procurement related matters among internal and external supply chain stakeholders.
- Offering internal customers (DC and Merchandise) as well as my external customer (Vendors) with innovative, efficient and effective services related to local stock procurement
- Analyse, communicate and disseminate reporting by way of timely and accurate periodic reporting (eg.Delivery Non-Compliance, OTIF & Local Purchase order management)

**Systems**:

- Analytics to support decision-making through timely production and communication of analysis.
- Support the continuous analysis, improvement and development of processes and decision support tools to support stock availability.
- Reporting enhancements: Establishing requirements, planning, implementation and deployment.
- Assist with the successful development and adoption of technology driven solutions, support the change and measure with feedback.

**Organic Growth Through Innovation and Minimizing Risk**:

- Identify, implement and champion projects (including the provision and analysis of technical data; reporting on project plans, progress and results) to improve supply chain and operational efficiencies on key initiatives and measure with feedback.
- Change management: support the successful adoption of change and measure with feedback.
- Submit, provide input and assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and standards for merchant and warehouse activity surrounding supply chain and operational issues.
- Review performance against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
- Communicate the supply chain and operational needs, priorities and objectives to managers and key personnel in the various HC functional departments.
- Establish metrics and systems to measure, interrogate and enforce performance with regards to delivery, cost efficiencies and meeting required service levels.

**Financial management**:

- Continuously identify cost savings.
- Management of Capex budget.
- In the unforeseen event of deliveries breaching capacity, calculate and present to management the financial impact of contingency plans.

**Health & Safety**
- Champion and enforce health and safety practices as per the DC health and safety standards and procedures.
- Align with ISO accreditation requirements with a focus on enhancements.

Requirements for this position:

- University Bcom Degree
- 5 years experience as a Planner
- Supply Chain modelling will be an added advantage
- Logistics management experience within a retail environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R28,000.00 per month
