We have a vacancy for an External Sales Rep for our Witbank branch. To establish, develop and grow our trade and retail business in the given region. To handle the sales functions in a professional manner for customers by providing friendly, prompt and efficient service to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction. The person must:

- have good sales experience and a track record of meeting targets;
- be fit and health as this role requires the person to pick up heavy batteries and stock;
- Some sort of technical/electrical background/knowledge and willing and able to learn

**Knowledge, skills & abilities**
- Essential customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literate: MS Office
- Well-spoken and presented (fluent in English)
- Good communicator
- Excellent sales skills with proven track record
- Persuasive, persistent and result driven

**Key Performance Areas (KPAs)**
- Managing of existing and new accounts with regards to the sales of all products which include the building and maintaining of relationships with all customers, ensuring prompt and efficient feedback and service delivery.
- Exhibit a positive, friendly & helpful attitude with customers
- Call out & breakdown assistance
- Handling quotations & sales orders on a daily basis
- Visit potential customers in order to build brand awareness in the area.
- Responsible for your own van stock holding
- Provide product training to customers
- Assist and resolve customer complaints
- Expedite customer lead through cold calling
- Analyse market potential track sales & status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets & outcomes within schedule
- Other duties reasonably relating to this position
- Be involved in customer activation days if necessary.

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R11,000.00 per month
