**Overview & Key Responsibilities**
This role is responsible for performing required installation and maintenance activities on operational sites effectively, efficiently and safely. The key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
1. Performing maintenance and installation activities.
2. Planning, communicating and reporting on maintenance and installation activities within the area.
3. Ensuring every effort is made to manage and improve productivity and cost.
4. Ensuring high standard of workmanship.
5. Ensuring high level of safety at all times to eliminate risk to personnel and property.
6. Maintaining APSAP regional owned equipment to APSAP standards.

**Essential Requirements**
2. A red seal trade tested Artisan (preferably Millwright).
3. A registered SACGA accredited Gas Installer.
4. 3 - 7 years’ experience of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance work in an engineering environment in the
Industrial or Chemical Industry.
5. Cryogenic gases experience would be advantageous.
6. Must be willing to work shifts and overtime as and when required.
7. Must be willing to be on standby on weekends and public holidays.
8. Medically fit to work at heights.
9. Computer literate.
10. Good verbal and written communication skills.
11. A valid unendorsed code 08 driver’s license.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kempton Park, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- electrical and/or mechanical: 3 years (required)
- maintenance work in the Industrial or Chemical Industry: 3 years (required)
- Cryogenic gases: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- registered SACGA accredited Gas Installer (required)
