We are looking for a motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join the Industrial Operations, and HSEC and Human Rights audit delivery team within our Group Internal Audit and Assurance (GIAA) function.
- Become part of a global, dynamic, and diverse team, which helps the board and senior management protect and enhance the organisation’s value through insightful and impactful assurance and acting as a catalyst for business improvement and positive change.
- We innovative practices to provide assurance and advisory services to the company’s stakeholders.
- In your role, you will:
- Perform Industrial Operations, and HSEC and Human Rights assurance and consulting engagements worldwide.
- Understand strategic and operational business activities relevant to Industrial Operations
- Identify and assess relevant risks and mitigating controls.
- Suggest improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business activities.
- Adhere to GIAA’s methodologies and procedures to ensure delivery of quality of work and outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading and delivering audit engagements.
- Coordinate audit planning activities including defining priorities, scope areas, budgets, resource allocation and interactions with stakeholders. o Prepare detailed audit work programmes considering relevant internal standards and accepted industry practices. o Identify control gaps, determine root causes, and support the business in developing appropriate mitigating actions plans. o Prepare audit reports and communicate results with relevant management. o Monitoring and review of finding and management action closure.
- Undertake ad-hoc special reviews as required.
- Build key stakeholder relationships and develop a comprehensive understanding of the business.
- Understand current and emerging risks and use this knowledge to provide relevant insights.
- **Qualification**:

- University degree in areas of study such as (not limited to) Business, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, HSEC/ESG, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CA, CPA or CISA (Advantageous)

**Experience**:

- Has at least 5 years of working experience in internal or external audit in an international environment, preferably in the mining or similar.
- Is operationally excellent with a hands-on approach, producing high-quality work while meeting deadlines.
- Familiar with the mining/extractives industry and key risks.
- Has excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Russian would be advantageous but not required.
- Is flexible to work in a global team across various time zones.
- Team player, enthusiastic, consistent work attitude and can work well in a time-sensitive setting.
- Operationally excellent being able to organise, produce high-quality work and meet agreed deadlines.
- Interested to continuously learn about the company’s business.
- Analytical skills combined with critical thinking.
- Is motivated to travel up to 30% world-wide.
