An exciting opportunity has become available for a Human Resource Manager to work for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD). The role will be based in Roodepoort, JHB and will report to the Human Resource Executive.

**Job description**:
**Job Purpose**:

- To ensure that a high standard of HR services and initiatives are delivered to enable relevant areas to meet current and future growth needs.

**Job Objectives**:

- To proactively and consistently deliver the Clicks Group people strategies & operating plans in tandem with the Group’s initiatives of attracting & retaining scarce skills; and training and development plans to meet business needs
- Lead the HR team in delivering a consistently high level of HR business partnering service
- Achieve the set HR scorecard targets, measuring qualitative and quantitative delivery of all HR services and initiatives
- Represent HR in Exco meetings, preparing and tracking of the HR scorecard and driving delivery thereof
- Attend all Functional Area Business Reviews in order to assist and track employment cost
- Oversee payroll function
- To innovatively manage people costs with a view to optimum efficiency and productivity, whilst driving a high performance culture
- To ensure delivery of the Clicks BU HR calendar and manage the daily/ weekly/ quarterly/ annual timelines
- Drive delivery on transformation targets
- Produce quality HR reports in line with agreed HR service levels
- Ensure proficiency in administrative management and techniques
- Oversee employee wellness initiatives and projects
- Create a safe and inclusive work environment
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Advise management on appropriate resolutions with regards to employee relations issues.

**Minimum requirements**:
**Experience and Education**:

- 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience, in a similar role (i.e. HR Management in a Retail, FMCG or Pharmaceutical environment)
- B Degree in HR or Business related
