**About the role**

Reporting to the Finance Director you will take responsibility for the Quality Management System ensuring that the framework promotes a consistent approach and contributes to exemplary client service. In addition, you will manage and govern environmental, health, and safety issues (EHS & OHS).

**What you will do**
- Manage the governance within the global business maintaining policies and procedures to deliver ISO 9001 and 14001 excellence and ongoing certification.
- Promote governance throughout the business and ensure the ISO frameworks are used to elevate our service offerings.
- Overall responsibility for the Quality Management System (QMS) and all related policies and procedures, ensuring they are reviewed, current, and available to the business.
- Manage the internal audit process and timetable, carrying out regular internal audits for QCIC’s ISO certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, and 27001).
- Produce and submit a full audit report on each audit undertaken, noting action points as necessary, and adhering to deadlines to remedy any issues and/or non-conformities/opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the supplier management process ensuring QCIC and their clients are compliant and protected noting any changes in requirements and legislation as necessary.
- Ensure that complaints and improvements are managed through to a successful conclusion ensuring clients and staff value the process.
- Engage with continuous knowledge development regarding each certification’s requirements, recommended best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
- Recognise change within the industry with respect to governance and ensure QCIC is always improving and able to position its internal frameworks as forward-thinking and innovative.
- Conduct induction training for new joiners regarding governance and ensure all ongoing training is completed on a timely basis.
- Understand, roll out and ensure compliance with EHS and/or OHS regulations, working with various departments where necessary in a timely manner.
- Chair regular quality control meetings, producing an action tracker ensuring chasers are sent to the responsible individuals to check on progress and work with the relevant individuals to come to a successful conclusion.

**What we are looking for**

The QMS Manager will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

- Experience in conducting internal audits for ISO standards.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and 14001 with 27001 awareness.
- Experience of EHS & OHS requirements.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Project co-ordination or assistance experience.
- Evidence of interest in and commitment to organisational values.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential including the ability to relate to people at all levels.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
- Enjoy working in a busy environment.
- A spirit of co-operation and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to effectively prioritise, excellent organisation
- Ability to multi-task, use initiative, and to work well under pressure / to deadlines.
- Personable, but professional.
- Excellent working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
