**The Brand & Customer Manager (BCM) will be responsible for the following activities related to the portfolio of brands (Established Brands and Women's Health/WH) they manage within the English and Portuguese Speaking Africa Markets**

Responsibilities include market and brand planning to ensure the commercial/marketing strategy, tactics and infrastructure are in place to successfully achieve sales. In addition, the BCM will work closely with a broad cross functional team to establish new business opportunities & partnerships and successfully drive new product launches across franchises across markets.

The BCM will also interact with global, regional and local teams to support franchise strategies**.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Brand planning & Financials**
- Develop and deliver annual Brand Plans and LROP for promoted brands in line with brand guidelines and market dynamics, while incorporating the digital elements to enhance offering
- Work with the cross functional team and alliance partner(s) to understand and shape the market and environment to ensure optimal access for future portfolios products and to identify new development and partnership opportunities within therapeutic areas
- Ensure a detailed understanding of market dynamics as well as patient, prescriber, pharmacist and other key stakeholder’s attitudes
- Lead development and delivery of appropriate and effective promotional materials and educational programmes in line with brand plan and strategies
- Day-to-day management of promotional budget to optimize effectiveness and efficiency in line with ORGANON compliance standards
- Ensure all projects are in line with over-arching ORGANON Portfolios Franchise vision and values
- Outstanding execution by assuming responsibility for the P&L within different Franchises in a multifunctional organization and achieving annual budget targets, in a highly competitive market.
- Identify new business opportunities, build business cases, and prepare for new product launches
- Launch planning and successful execution of plans
- Forecasting and working in close collaboration with business operations and supply team to ensure optimum availability of products in market
- Achieve targets by prioritizing portfolio management and successfully delivering on all strategic and operational commitments.

**Collaboration**
- Liaise and build strong rapport with the local, regional and global organization by integrating the broader organization’s expertise and know-how into the strategy/operations and take guidance effectively from and contribute to corporate knowledge resources.
- Collaborate effectively all internal and external stakeholders to drive to ensure optimum alignment and drive patient and customer value as well as organization value

**Innovate and Inspire**
- Develop imaginative, broad based and non-traditional approaches to develop business opportunities using a customer driven, end-to-end approach. Flex and adapt rapidly to new situations and continually seek for new opportunities.
- Evaluate alternatives, have the constitution for change, and the skills to drive it. Drive change and generate new ideas. Encourage others to generate ideas.
- Work effectively with partners and field-based staff to refine market insights, oversee and co-ordinate implementation of brand strategies and provide a high level of responsiveness and support
- Motivate and inspire all functions and drive active engagement in strategy setting.
- Set direction for the portfolio/s and align the alliance partner to enthusiastically execute on strategy. Demonstrate ability to lead and influence people and team who are not reporting directly to him/her.

**Stakeholder Management**
- KOL and KDM identification and development in collaboration with CFT
- Establish strong relationship with KOLs to strengthen customer centricity and partnership development with ORGANON
- Effective engagement with alliance partner, KDM and KOLs to maintain a thorough understanding of the market, customer base and their perspective to identify key customer needs and develop solutions which best meet these needs and help improve patient outcomes.

**Compliance**
- Conduct all activities in compliance with company policies and standards, and with the IFPMA Code of Practice and country regulations.
