**Workshop Manager (Witbank)**

**Purpose**:

- We are looking for a Workshop manager to oversee the manufacturing process within our company and to ensure that production runs without any problems and with minimum downtime. Working together and liaising with management and staff, to ensure that products are manufactured to a certain quality standard and adhere to other safety and industry-related regulations._

**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12

Trade test Certificate (Boilermaker or Fitter and turner)

Computer Literate

Microsoft Office Sufficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

10-15 Experience in Engineering workshop environment.

Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards and Procedures

3 to 5 Years Experience in a leadership role (Certificate will be advantageous)

Must have skills and knowledge in the following.
- Boiler making
- Machining
- Basic hydraulics
- Welding
- Quality Control (ISO 9001:2015)
- Workshop tools and equipment
- Basic Conditions of employment
- Managing Staff
- Training
- Basic Administration
- Attention to detail

Must be able to communicate in English. (Speak, Read & Write)

**Core Functions**:
Manage Production

Manage workshop staff.

Manage workshop equipment.

Testing of products

Quality control

Liaise with Departments to ensure sufficient stock and materials for production

Comply With Company Policies and Procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
