- Our client specialises in paper
- to-digital conversions, document storage and the total cycle of file and information management. We are recruiting for managers for their Durban and Cape Town record-storage warehouses.
- Purpose:

- To manage the physical and electronic records through digitisation, backups, storage, transportation and client access. You would provide leadership on the achievement of the organisation’s digital operations objectives, designing and implementing fit-for-purpose digital warehousing strategies and procedures and providing strategic and operational support on matters relating to the provision of timely and consistent document digitisation services in line with the strategic objectives of the organisation.**Category**:

**General Requirements**:

- Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

- Strategic Digital Planning and Management.
- Operational Service Delivery.

- Risk Management.
- Create, communicate, and implement a business plan that will enable the achievement of the departmental strategy for Digital.
- Develop and implement the Digital Strategy for meeting turnaround requirements as expected by all stakeholders in line with the related SOPs, providing efficient and effective document digitisation services.
- Manage and control the department’s relevant cost centres to ensure alignment to the organisation’s revenue and efficiency objectives.
- Contain costs while maintaining high levels of impact and performance.
- Implement strategic targets, performance management, and the required cascading of performance objectives in order to drive operational success.
- Responsible for the leadership and development of all staff within the Digital department.
- Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service.
- Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of expectations management, knowledge sharing and integration, and to manage the organisation’s reputation.
- Responsible for the coordination and maintenance of quality risk management in line with regulatory requirements.
- Health and Safety Management.
- Strive to optimize projects to the benefit of the Client’s business.

Skills and Competencies:

- Demonstrated proficiency in the relevant Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively on various levels of stakeholders.
- Proven track record in managing the smooth running of a warehousing or distribution facility.
- Proven track record in managing warehouse compliance including setting up an ideal layout and ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in relevant warehousing systems software and programmes.
- Innovative, proactive and results driven.
- Strong analytical capability and high attention to detail.
- Strong ethical approach to work.
- Effective planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure.
- Relevant Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain management or a related field. (NQF 7)
- 5 years relevant within a Warehouse, Logistics or Distribution operating environment is required.
- 3 Years’ relevant managerial experience leading a team of people is required.**Location**:
