**Property Manager**

We at HostAgents are using technology to revolutionize modern short-term rental hosting, making it accessible to everyone - anywhere. From powerful host dashboards to industry-leading housekeeping apps, technology drives everything we do. And we’re in demand.

We currently have just under 300 properties on our portfolio, and we need a strong and organized person to take on and manage a portfolio of properties in a specific area (Blouberg) - approximately 20 - 30 properties.

You will be responsible to manage and co-ordinate all arrivals and guests experience with the properties under your portfolio. You will be the first to meet our customers in person, so the first impression of our Company depends on your friendliness and efficiency, and ability communicate and plan efficiently/effectively.

**This job requires**
- A minimum of 3 years experience with a similar role
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have your own vehicle
- Must live within Blouberg

**You will be required**:

- Welcoming customers, and reaching out to them before their arrival.
- Acting as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information
- Understanding customer’s needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the property.
- Deal with any issues, complaints etc.
- Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations
- Answer the phone and make reservations, take and distribute messages or mail and redirect calls
- Meet and maintain HostAgents standards and metrics such as NPS, standard unit appearance, and efficiency
- Manage an efficient and high-quality team, ensuring they are trained, effective, and adhere to all HostAgents policies and procedures
- Ability to arrange, coordinate and oversee home maintenance when required
- Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team
- Traveling between worksites is frequent and this person will need their own reliable transportation.

**Day-To-Day’s**
- Manage your own team for arrival and departure cleans.
- Personally check in and check out all guests in the properties in your assigned area
- Ensure timely logging of issues on in-house system (training will be provided)
- Closing all allocated job-cards on in-house system
- 24hour on call for checked-in guests - sort out any requests that they might need assistance with
- Look after the long-term maintenance of the property, ensuring that the quality and standard of the property is in good order always for the owners

Please note that there is no set hours, and and if guests want to check in at 9pm, you will be required to drive to booked property to meet guests there etc, which is why a person that has a passion for people and hospitality will only be suited for this role.
