**Front Office Shift Leader**
The Front Office Shift Leader / Senior Guest Assistant assists the Front Office Manager to oversee, coordinate and direct the service, operations, logistics and activities of the shift in the Front Office department. Takes responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office shift as their primary operational responsibility.

In the absence of the Front Office Manager, the position responds to the requests that are presented by the Guests, Department Managers, and the Market (where involving services provided by the Front Office)..

This role works closely with the relevant Department Teams to assist the Front Office Manager to ensure a coordinated effort between Front Office and the different teams and to ensure service and product is delivered in excellence, that facilities and equipment are in perfect condition and working order. The role also ensures that guests receive exceptional levels of personalised service at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Accommodation Certificate/ Hotel School diploma is advantageous
- Previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5 star hotel
- Familiar with all duties and procedures in Front Office Department
- Opera and Micros experience is essential
- Third language is advantageous
- Reliable, responsible and dependable to fulfil obligations
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to lead, take charge and offer direction
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and service orientated
