Facilitator/academic Administrator

A Training company based in Wellington is seeking for a dynamic, committed and passionate applicant to fill in the vacant position of a Facilitator/Academic Administrator and become part of the dedicated team that will support the safety and security accredited training college with ongoing skills development as well as legislative training including variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate professional knowledge in relation to the training of learners to line management.
- Communicate professional knowledge in relation to training learners.
- Facilitate approved set Unit Standards to learners in respect of knowledge-based units and specific elective learning units.
- Prepare accredited lesson plans in terms of set criteria.
- Prepare learners for assessment.
- Handle routine administrative tasks in relation to the training function.
- Assess learner Portfolio of Evidence files.
- Invigilate during formative and summative assessments.
- Assess learner competencies in relation to theoretical and practical exercises and all evidence.

**Job Requirements**:

- Additional three (3) years relevant experience in a safety and security/ Policing environment preferred.
- Two (2) years experience as a facilitator.
- Relevant three-year diploma in safety and security preferred.
- Own reliable transport to work.

**Job Type**: Permanent Position (Full Time)

**Salary Scale**: Negotiable based of experience.
