**Main purpose of the job**

SHEQ Coordinator. Their main goal will be to always ensure all SHEQ related

documentation and responsibilities are met, up to date and valid. The SHEQ

Coordinator’s duties and responsibilities are to plan (meetings, training,

medical fitness certification) and oversee the proper documents meet the

expectation... Their main duty is to ensure that the company’s SHEQ related

responsibilities, from an administrative perspective, still is compliant and

adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act.

**Key responsibilities**
- Act as the link between requests to and from SHEQ
- Ensure document archives and repositories are clearly understood and known by heart.
- Supply OHS documents needed to compile OHS files.
- Ensure all documents found on repositories are valid and have been reviewed in less than a 3-year period.
- Ensure all documents meets ISO 9001 standard.
- Capturing and archiving data related to audits, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) issue, registers internal to NEC XON, subcontractor files, inductions, attendance registers, financial aspects of SHEQ, training matrix’, medical fitness certification, coordination related to SHEQ, Letters of good standing and 37.2 agreements.
- Provide bid response documentation with the approval of the Head of SHEQ.
- Follow up on outstanding matters with regards to SHEQ
- Find process bottlenecks and offer prompt solutions.
- Facilitate the procurement of PPE and company attire, related to staff associated with Field Services.
- Research documentation needed for SHEQ responses if not found in repositories and follow due process to incorporate documents into NEC XON’s repositories.
- Coordinate meetings and related Agendas along with subsequent meeting minutes and action lists
- Liaise with vendors to ensure they are notified timeously of monthly audits.
- Maintain and monitor training related to SHEQ, with HR with an up to date events calendar.
- Form part of the Health & Safety Committee and advise on pertinent matters affecting OHS within the work environment.
- Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures

**Knowledge Competencies**
- Excellent document control and management
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.

**Experience**
- 3 years' experience within an Office/ Corporate environment
- Having an understanding of ISO compliance for 45001, 9001 and 14001
- Good skill with spreadsheets - Having a keen eye for detail.

**Qualifications**

**Matric with a BTech of any sort, preferably in Operations Management**

**Any office related certification that speaks to data management**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 72 months

**Salary**: From R16,000.00 per month
