**OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME**: This position is one of the core-predictable, country-presence positions for WHO country office whose objectives is to strengthen WHO's strategic and operational presence in country by using the objective criteria.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:** Essential**: A University degree (bachelor's) in a relevant field (suchas communication, journalism, marketing, health communications, political science or international relations)

**Desirable**: Formal qualification in public health. Courses in communication techniques and/orgraphic design, visual language in the use of social media. Training in riskcommunication.

**Experience**:** Essential**: At least two (02) years of practical experience working in journalism and/or a communications expert for a major national or international organization.

**Desirable**: Studies or experience-based knowledge of informationmanagement, information systems, communications techniques and media relations;
- Excellent knowledge of photography - Excellent knowledge of script/videoediting tools - Demonstrated experience in graphic design and video editing

**Skills**: Essential-Understanding of public health and internationaldevelopment issues -The development and implementation of communication/mediaproducts and approaches-Excellent oral and written communication -Ability to represent and promote the WHO brand in virtualcommunities and networks-Ability to develop messaging and positioning for aninternational organization -Ability to elicit and communicate success stories
