**Job purpose**: The role of the Sales Administrator is to provide essential administrative and support functions to the Trading team, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Sales processes.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, conducting follow ups, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and orders promptly.
- Receive and process orders from customers, ensuring accuracy in product selection, quantity, and pricing.
- Coordinate with the production or distribution teams to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.
- Assist Traders in developing sales strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports, track sales performance, and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare price quotes and proposals for customers based on product pricing and terms.
- Maintain detailed records of customer orders, invoices, and sales transactions.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards related to meat sales and distribution.
- Collaborate with various departments, including shipping, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and resolve any issues.
- Communicate with suppliers to secure meat product availability and negotiate favourable terms.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized sales records.
- Use software and tools, including Meat Matrix.
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues related to orders, deliveries, or product quality.
- Perform adhoc duties as needed.

**Skills Required**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the meat industry, including cuts, types, and storage requirements.
- Proficiency in using office software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Sales and negotiation skills.
