**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, you will focus on the following:
Procurement Management
- Responsible for all organizational procurement, mainly book selection per age, language and quantities, stationery, office furniture & other miscellaneous requests are processed within budget, according to spec and best pricing
- Liaising with various book publishers, negotiating pricing for procurement.

Production Management
- Prepare quote specifications, accordingly, assess quote to ensure that the correct printer is selected and ensure that the artwork supplied is correct.
- Sign off proofs and ensure delivery meets deadline in coordination with distribution timelines

IT Management

Office & automation Management
- Ensure office coordination is managed efficiently including hygiene, cleaning, maintenance, security, landlord liaison, office rental payments, automation billing and maintenance.

Travel & logistics Management
- Ensure that travel requests are assessed and processed timeously within the travel policy guidelines and available budget approved on the App
- Submit all travel advance requests to the finance department prior to travel.

Fleet Management
- Ensure regular fleet maintenance, driving monitoring per car track portal, license renewals, fuel card expenditure monitoring, traffic fine monitoring and vehicle purchases

Warehouse & Distribution Management
- Responsible for stock management, quarterly reporting and ensuring that distribution is planned accordingly per request and budget.
- Assess and purchase the correct packaging materials and ensure that delivery targets are met.

Team Leadership and Mentorship
- Provide direction, guidance and support to team members, in a manner that promotes innovation and initiative while ensuring accountability.
- Organise regular team meetings; ensure effective agenda-setting, documentation of action items and follow-up with other departments; and ensure these are used as platforms for problem-solving, reflection, learning and growth

**Qualification & Requirements**:

- Degree in Business administration, Supply Chain/ Logistics Management, Project Management or Finance and/ or any professional / postgraduate qualification in the relevant field
- At least 3-5 years relevant experience in middle or senior management
- Project management skills, including planning, budget development and budget management.
- Effectively overseeing the distribution of large quantities to geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong leadership qualities & great interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of programme development and operational management.
- Understands the importance of teamwork and demonstrates this in their leadership style.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, proactive and solution-focused.
- Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Flexible approach to work and able and willing to work outside normal office hours.
- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (Intermediate or Advanced)
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, Office 365 portal Administration, Microsoft Azure
- Fluency in an additional South African language is desirable
