**Job Advert Summary**:
Provide and manage a sales plan and product plan in order to meet financial targets, sales budgets, Return on Investment, Gross Profit and Gross Margin.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
To complete seasonal budgets with the planning manager based on history and trends.

Prepare seasonal strategy document to develop the merchandise assortment plan and submit the merchandise budget plans for approval.

Responsible for pulling histories into the DPP/Seasonal Assortment Plans.

Monitoring weekly stock management (OTB’s).

Review outstanding purchases to active DPP - article groups and make recommendations on stock.

To action monthly vendor re-projections on programs by re-projecting unit sales and unit buys.

Responsible for all unit buy projections including local vendors, imports and SOS buys.

Analyse monthly strike rates and communicate to buyer.

Manage over and under stocked lines and request vendors to uplift stock where applicable.

Monthly analyse of obsolete and discontinued stock.

To manage stock into the DC.

Responsible for projecting sales for promotions.

Keep abreast of POS and manage all markdowns.

**Minimum Requirements**:
University degree preferably, numerical advantageous

Knowledge of Merchandise SAP and EP systems or similar ERP advantageous

Thorough knowledge of long lead-time procurement
