**Position**: Hospitality Manager

**Location**: KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

**Responsibilities**:
**Guest Experience**: Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing all aspects of guest interactions, ensuring their needs and expectations are not only met but exceeded.

**Operational Excellence**: Manage and supervise daily lodge operations, including front office, housekeeping, catering, and guest services. Strive for seamless, efficient, and top-quality service delivery.

**Staff Leadership**: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated hospitality professionals. Set performance standards, provide regular feedback, and promote a positive and productive work environment.

**Financial Management**: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and make data-driven decisions to enhance profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards.

**Sales and Marketing**: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities. Foster strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and industry partners to expand the lodge's reach.

**Quality Assurance**: Uphold and enforce high standards of service, cleanliness, amenities, and safety. Regularly assess and improve lodge facilities and services to meet or exceed established quality benchmarks.

**Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, local communities, wildlife authorities, and conservation organisations. Contribute to conservation initiatives and support the lodge's sustainable practices.

**Event Management**: Coordinate special events, conferences, and weddings, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences.

**Cultural Sensitivity**: Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for guests from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability to different customs and practices.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in luxury hospitality management, preferably within a safari lodge or upscale resort setting.
Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
Financial acumen, budgeting skills, and the ability to analyse financial reports to make informed decisions.
Proficiency in hospitality software, Microsoft Office, and reservation systems.
Passion for wildlife conservation, eco-tourism, and sustainable hospitality practices.
