**HEAD OF OPERATIONS**

We operate nine Grade RR-12 schools around the world of which the centre in Cape Town, established in 2001, is the only centre in Africa.

**About the position**:

- Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Operations will be responsible for managing all aspects of Operations
- ** Key Performance Areas for this position includes but not limited to**:

- Liaison with external stakeholders in terms of Operations
- Statutory and Regulatory Compliance related to the Operations.
- Campus Management, including Sustainability and Cost Saving Interventions.
- Transportation Management
- Devise and Implement Operations Policies
- Management of Operations Team

**Qualifications and attributes**:

- Relevant Degree plus a qualification/certification in Operations Management or Facilities Management
- Project Management experience is essential. A certification in Project Management would be advantageous.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Operations in a School or similar institution
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to inspire and engage.
- Flexibility and adaptability with a team-player mindset.
- Strong ability to set and manage targets and deadlines.
- Calm approach to pressure
- Ability to motivate & coach
- Strong Technical mind & knowledge
- Computer literate in MS Office.
- A Code 08 drivers licence essential.
