Organizational Development and Learning Specialist

At Mimecast we want all our Mimecasters to undertake their Best Work, Best Teamwork and their Greatest Learning. In this critical role, reporting into the Head of the Learning and Organizational Development, you will support the wider Learning & Organizational Development initiatives as well as helping develop and deliver a variety of learning solutions: Performance & Talent management; soft skills training programs; team development sessions; coaching. You will also provide reporting, coordination and analysis related to learning and development initiatives, individual and team assessments and employee engagement. You will also be a super-user for LMS.

Key responsibilities:
Learning & Development Program Management- Supports L&OD colleagues in a variety of administrative, development, delivery and research activity.- Proactively prepares creative and high impact communications to attendees, develops innovative marketing materials that attract interest and secure participation in programs.- Develops assessment instruments to evaluate program effectiveness leveraging Kirkpatrick model. Develops surveys, validated assessments, and certification tools that accurately measure intended factors. Analyzes results and presents preliminary findings/recommendations to support continuous improvement.- Manages purchase order and invoice processing for vendor engagements.- Confidentially support the Performance & Talent lead in Performance Management and Talent Planning by providing project management, reporting, communication and appropriate training

Administration- Provides back-up LMS administration as super-user for corporate learning and developmental programs and supports problem solving related to the LMS. Provides advanced system administration as needed.- Provide back up to L&OD co-ordination- Analyzes data, creates and delivers information and recommendations to enhance the learner experience.

Research:- Engages in continuous learning and professional development, keeping current with business trends and compliance requirements of the job.

End-to-end Project Management for semi-complex projects.

You'll need:
- Ability to provide consultation with internal/external customers at all levels of the organization- Team player focused on building our company together- Must demonstrate a high quality of customer service putting the needs of the customer at the center of problem solving- Strong self-motivation and ability to prioritize work effectively. Can be counted on to deliver on commitments and hold self and others accountable to deliverables.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands without getting flustered- Knowledge of Talent Management practices, leadership and learning frameworks and models- Strong analytical skills and database acumen, with acute attention to detail- Intermediate level program and project management- Effective written, verbal communication skills- Ability to protect data and maintain confidentiality- Experience with learning management systems, survey and assessment tools and courseware development tools- 3-5 years of experience in a high performing complex environment
