Kendrick Recruitment is looking for a Cluster Revenue Manager to support a New, Modern Hotel Group in the Western Cape.

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

The role of a Cluster Revenue Manager is critical to optimizing revenue and maximizing profitability across multiple properties. This position involves overseeing revenue management strategies and implementing tactics that help the group achieve its financial objectives.

REMUNERATION

Salary is dependent on experience. This is a full-time, permanent position. It is an office based position.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5 - 10 years professional knowledge and/or work experience
- Minimum of 5 years in hospitality and short-term rental experience
- 2 Years in a management position
- Industry/related experience - Hotels and resorts or short-term rental experience
- Strong financial skills
- You will be able to demonstrate a high level of agility in a demanding environment and be able to effectively communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management skills will be considered fundamental together with a motivated and commercially astute approach.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven track record of successfully building and nurturing multi-level member relationships.
- Ability to effectively interpret and anticipate member needs and foresee problems and prevent them by acting efficiently.
- Excellent time and task management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and excellent attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action.
- Being comfortable in discussion forums; being able to represent ideas succinctly and convincingly.
- Team building skills and proven track record.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Assessing, evaluating and implementing revenue generation strategies to ensure the maximisation of revenue.
- Communicating the revenue generation strategies to all departments, to build a culture of revenue optimisation.
- Rate per night stay in line with "profitability markers.
- Room changeover process and guest experience reviews
- Managing the market mix on bedroom inventory.
- Implementing and maintaining the portfolio Revenue Management system.
- Determining market pricing policy in conjunction with head of Leasing and asset management.
- Overseeing the configuration of software required..
- Being responsible for all rooms and per night rates and revenue generation, ensuring contractual terms and payments are sufficient to protect revenue collection.
- Setting strategy for overbooking during demand periods.
- Ensuring implementation of demand-planning calendars for Rooms.
- Providing training and support for all revenue generating departments data quality to improve collection of customer information.
- Facilitating the weekly revenue meetings.
- Overseeing the loading of new sites onto platforms and accuracy of information
- Recommendations on, Pivoting LTR rooms onto STR Platform where the term of stay would be vacant for 30 days or more.
- Work with the marketing team to plan budgeting and strategy for the sector in order to drive market mix and direct bookings and increase overall revenue for the portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dispute resolution skills i.e. the ability to pacify upset members and resolve disputes between staff/stakeholders.
- Sourcing future group bookings from short term partners.
- Hospitality-centric approach to dealing with customers and stakeholders.
- Maximising total revenue contribution thoroughly, understanding of all booking
- channels and management of inventory and rating therein.
- Presenting recommendations on future sell strategies and tactical activities.
- Executing tactics and strategies as collectively agreed.
- Reviewing the individual and group room rate and pricings to ensure they reflect the market conditions amongst the competitive environments.
- Utilising and integrating all available tools and systems in all revenue generating departments to maximise revenue earning capability.
- Ensuring implementation of group ceilings that fluctuate with forecast demand.
- Reviewing and approving all bookings.
- Revising room rates and preparing annual budgets
- Being responsible for all rates and their loading into operating system
- Investigating and communicating new ways to capture optimal revenue potentials.
- Investigating competitors regularly for future strategy.
- Setting goals for the revenue management team and sharing performance results.
- Producing reports as required.
