**Main duties and responsibilities**:
Communication

1. Deliver on the communications strategy to ensure successful Lisp, product and enhancements positioning.

2. Write and edit PPS Investments collateral across mediums and/or formats: articles, correspondence and invitations, among others.

3. Ensure all Marketing & Communications material, including the PPS Investments website, remains relevant and updated.

4. Drive the alignment of messaging across the business, as well as alignment to PPS Investments’ communication style.

5. Assisting with the management, development and growth of PPS Investments newsletters and other regular communication.

6. Co-ordinate timeous delivery of articles from spokespeople and other contributors for all communications.

7. Keep abreast of competitors’ communication activities and identify key learnings for PPS Investments.

8. Liaise with PPS Group Marketing to ensure that PPS Investments has a share of voice with its target markets across all communication channels

9. Ensure the PPS Investments communications calendar is always updated.

10. Ensure sign off of materials by key stakeholders within the business.

Public relations

11. Support delivery of the PR strategy to ensure that PPS Investments is highly present in the correct media platforms and positioned as thought leaders.

12. Ensure PPS Investments meets its PR AVE targets and that the relevant people are profiled.

13. Assist in managing the relationship with the PR agency

14. Identify newsworthy and relevant topic ideas and liaise with potential contributors.

15. Write and edit articles for media

Social media

16. Assist in implementing Social Media strategies for PPS Investments across all platforms

17. Grow followers and engagements for PPS Investments Social Media initiatives.

18. Manage the relationship with the within the PPS Group Social Media team, attending monthly Social Media forum meetings.

Content development & management
- Produce effective and relevant content for PPS Investments Lisp, product and enhancements for sales, positioning and marketing collateral
- Stay up to date on industry trends
- Execute a content strategy that drives high engagement
- Serve as content developer
- Manage the distribution of content across all channels

Marketing & distribution support

Collaborate on delivering key Marketing and sales initiatives

Assistance with creating content for sales and marketing collateral

**Ideal experience**:
1. 3 - 5 years of experience within the investment industry

2. At least 2 years proven experience as a communication specialist, ideally in a financial services company

3. Product knowledge is not fundamental, but an understanding of the financial services industry is crucial.

4. Experience within a Lisp will be advantageous

**Ideal qualifications**:
1. Relevant bachelor’s degree

2. Alternatively, a tertiary qualification in communications, journalism or public relations will be an advantage.
