**Job Purpose**

Draft and prepare draft plans, technical drawings for the sales team by using computer aided design systems. This documentation assists the sales team to service their customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Receive marked up layouts from sales team.

2. Clean up received drawings from clients and sales team.

3. Ensure all relevant information was received from sales team to do lighting layout.

4. Convert hand drawn designs to CAD.

5. Design lighting layouts for assigned projects

6. Quantify lighting layouts to populate legends for quotation purposes.

7. Build 3D models of projects in Dialux and testing light levels.

8. Testing light fixtures in Dialux.

**Qualifications, Educational Requirements and Skills**
- Proven experience in the CAD and Dialux operator role.
- Outstanding fluency and skill within the AutoCAD and Dialux program.
- Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback.
- A passion for doing high quality work.
- Ability to think critically, innovate and solve challenging technical problems.
- High attention to detail.
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
- Being able to self-start and self-motivate when there is no one available to provide instruction.
- Capacity to handle pressure.
- Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times.
- Mental and emotional fitness.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
