**Are you a highly skilled, technical Sample Room Supervisor, responsible for managing a team of Patternmakers, Graders, Sewing Machinists and Marker Makers? Your key responsibilities would include the teams accuracy and efficiency meeting customer requirements and critical path deadlines.**

- Ensure that internal processes and quality standards are aligned with the Retail Division.
- Align with the Production and Merchandise Department to ensure that garments are costed and made in the most production friendly way.
- Ensure that standards for construction are created and adhered to.
- Ensure a Block Library is created and maintained.
- Responsible that all technical information required for garment production, is correct and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Responsible for systems and procedures to be implemented as well as training and support to all staff.
- Effectively and efficiently manages the team to ensure budgeted outputs are achieved.
- Ability to put corrective action plans in place and/or revise processes if the above are not achieved.
- Work closely with the Merchandise Team, to plan the flow through the department and ensure deadline dates are met.
- Accurately records sample briefs received from the Merchandise Team.
- Accurately records when samples are either Fit or PP approved.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the merchandise related computer system Sync.
- Update allocated Sync tasks timeously.
- Ensure machinery and equipment is maintained and in good working order.
- **Key Requirements**_
- Relevant Diploma/Degree relating to the Clothing Industry.
- +-7 years experience in a similar Clothing Design Centre environment.
- Good negotiable package.
- Opportunity to work in Retail.
