We are a Digital Agency in Buffalo, NY with a remote team across the globe. We have been in business for over 20 years. We are growing very fast and need dynamic leaders to join our team.

**ROLE**:
A content writer is more than just a wordsmith; they are a strategic thinker and storyteller with the ability to engage an audience and create content that is both informative and persuasive.

Being an effective content writer, you must understand the needs of their audience and create content that meets those needs. They are able to take complex topics and break them down into language that is easy to understand, making the information accessible to a wider audience.

In addition, you should know how to use keywords and other SEO techniques to ensure that their content is seen by as many people as possible.

Ultimately, you play an important role in helping businesses connect with their customers and achieve their goals. The mission for the **Content Writer** is to create engaging, targeted ghostwritten content on behalf of No Joke Marketing.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to produce >3000 words/day of content
- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
- Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with required brand voice, style and tone.
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
- Research ideas and facts pertinent to the type of content/topic assigned
- Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories and social media to entice and engage audience
- Proofread content for errors or additions and ensure that content is written per instructions
- Ensure that content contains sufficient keywords for search engine optimization
- Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience

**Preferred Skills and Experiences**:

- Experience with consistent professional content creation as a copywriter or journalist
- At least 3 years of marketing content creation experience
- Experience with Wordpress, Google analytics, and the top social channels

**Compensation**:

- Compensation for this role will be dependent on experience
- Compensation will be provided on a bi-weekly basis
